Everything you need to know about Bank Holiday bin collection

Residents are reminded there will be no changes to bin collections in County Durham during the May Bank Holiday.

Durham County Council is advising residents that bin collections will remain as usual the week commencing Monday May 30.

This includes refuse, recycling and garden waste collections (for those who have signed up to the scheme).

Residents are also advised to put their bins out for collection by 7am on their normal collection day.

Anyone who is unsure of their collection days can find out by downloading a bin collection calendar and entering their house number and postcode into the ‘MyDurham’ section on the Durham County Council website at www.durham.gov.uk.
