The family of the woman killed when a bus crashed in a County Durham town today paid tribute to her.
Eileen Brennan, 82, died last Thursday when an Arriva bus left the road in Northgate, Darlington, and crashed into the Halifax bank.
Two other pedestrians were injured and needed hospital treatment.
The 52-year-old bus driver was arrested and later released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
Today, Mrs Brennan's family released the first picture of the great-grandmother, and paid tribute to her.
They described her as "a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed".
