A FARMERS’ market selling local and fresh produce is to be held at a nature reserve next week.
The Northern Dales Farmers Market is visiting Saltholme, off Seaton Carew Road, in Hartlepool.
The stalls will be set up and produce put on sale from 9am until 2.30pm on Saturday this week.
As well as stalls packed with all kinds of locally-sourced produce, such as cheese, meat, cakes, and vegetables, the reserve’s visitor’s centre and cafe will also be open from 9am as well.
So after having a look around the market, shoppers can then venture into the reserve.
A spokesman for the reserve said: “The Northern Dales Farmers Market is visiting Saltholme with its array of locally-sourced produce. “Come along and buy some tasty treats.”
He added: “The visitor centre, shop and cafe will be open as well.”
Entry to the event is free for all.
