Hartlepool firefighters freed a woman trapped in her car after it overturned following a car accident.
Crews from Hartlepool Stranton were called to the two vehicle car accident at the junction of Park Road and Elwick Grove in the town at 6.30am today.
Firefighters managed to cut the woman from one of the cars before leaving the scene around 7am.
The woman was then taken by ambulance to North Tees Hospital, but is not believed to have suffered serious injuries.
A spokeswoman from the North East Ambulance Service said: "We received a call from the fire service to attend the incident at 6.31am.
"We then took the lady to North Tees Hospital."
