Firm backs Best of Hartlepool Awards '“ enter your nominations here

Hart Biologicals, based in the Rivergreen Business Centre on the Queens Meadow Business Park, is on board as a sponsor for the Best of Hartlepool Awards.

The company, which is a former winner of the Hartlepool Business of the Year title, makes the reagents which are used to investigate the blood clotting function in patients.

And now, it is backing our annual competition by becoming a sponsor of the Sports Team of the Year category.

Managing director Alby Pattison said: “ Hart Biologicals is delighted to be backing the Sports Team of the Year category.

“Sport is extremely important and I myself have strong links with the local sporting scene, particularly rugby and cricket.

“We’d like to wish all shortlisted good luck and are looking forward to the upcoming ceremony.”

We want to find this year’s heroes so get nominating and make sure those unsung heroes of the town get the recognition they warrant.

This year, the competition is being held in association with Niramax and in which Specsavers, Stagecoach North East and Hart Biologicals are category sponsors. We are delighted to have every one of them behind us.

We’re hoping to discover even more of the heroes who make our community tick.

You might be a top role model or a fantastic fundraiser, a green champion or an outstanding sportsperson. Perhaps you are one of the town’s many outstanding children who have achieved excellence or shown great courage.

We also want to find winners in our sports team, community champion, community group and emergency services categories. And we want to discover the best neighbours, volunteers, carers and students. There’s plenty of time to put forward your favourites as the deadline to put forward entries is Saturday, April 2.

So all we need now is plenty of people to come forward. To nominate send your name, address and telephone number, the name of the business or person you wish to nominate, along with their address, telephone number and email (if known)

State which category your nomination applies to (from the list of categories) and provide a description of the reasons for your nomination (no more than 300 words)
