DOG owners are being offered the chance to have their pet micro-chipped for free.
Durham County Council and Stray Aid will be holding a chipping session as part of a Not in My Neighbourhood crackdown on anti-social behaviour and neighbourhood nuisances.
It will take place at Easington Social Welfare Centre, in Seaside Lane, Easington Colliery, on Thursday, March 3 from 10am until 2pm.
Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old and have had their first set of injections.
Owners are also asked to take along a form of identification which includes their address.
