A TRIPLE bill of Halloween entertainment is on the way for keen walkers.
There’s plenty of scarily good entertainment to keep ramblers in the Hartlepool area busy this month and it starts with a ghost walk around one of the most historic parts of town.
The 90-minute ghost walk will be held on Friday, October 26 from 6.30pm and local expert Steve Robbins will lead the way.
He will regale some of the tales of countless ghosts and stories of unexplained happenings associated with Hartlepool Headland.
Advanced booking is essential by calling (01429) 853325.
Next in line is a lantern event to be held in Seaton Park on Monday, October 29, which runs from 4pm to 5.30pm and gives people a chance to light up Seaton Park with their own colourful handmade lanterns.
Organisers are urging people to wrap up warm, bring a torch and “head out on a magical walk around the park and along the beach”.
The event is being led by the Wild Green Spaces team and the organisers say it is suitable for wheelchairs and prams.
Advance booking is essential by contacting (01429) 853325.
The third event is a spooky family walk planned at Rossmere Park.
The frightening fun starts on Wednesday, October 31, at 5pm in the event titled Rossmere Halloween Fright Night.
It’s a two-hour chance to spend an evening watching out for ghosts and ghouls on a spooky walk around Rossmere Park.
Those interested are being advised to bring a torch and meet at The Tea Gardens, in Rossmere Park.
