Ghosts of Hartlepool: 13 of the town's most haunted places - and the spirits that walk them
From a Grey Lady haunting the Headland to a spectral mechanic in the cellar of Popworld, Hartlepool has no shortage of ghost stories.

5. The McOrville, Elwick
The pub is said to be haunted by a five-year-old boy called Gus, who died around 70 years ago - possibly killed by a horse.
6. The Grand Hotel
A mischievous spirit was reported to push men who were spending a penny in the toilets - and doors would often bang shut loudly for no reason.
7. The Pot House
Previously the Harbour and Refuge. Former landlord Albert has been spotted several times at the pub, along with his good lady wife.
8. The Marine Hotel
A female wraith in period dress has been reported in the upstairs passageway, while drink pipes have been mysteriously disconnected in the cellar.
