Half-hour delays as A19 lane closed following accident
Drivers faced up to half-hour delays on the A19 this morning following a collision.
One southbound lane between the junctions with the A179, near Hartlepool, and the A689 was closed following the accident.
That caused major tailbacks, which were expected to continue until about 9.30am.
However, the lane reopened at about 8.45am, and congestion is now easing.
