YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a host of fun activities during their half-term holidays.
Oscars, the Hartlepool Borough Council-run after school and holiday programme, is based at West Rugby Club in Catcote Road and caters for children aged three to 16.
Youngsters enjoyed a wide range of activities including a day out at the Ruff ‘N’ Tumble Adventure Park, a picnic at Burn Valley Gardens plus a range of activities at the Oscar Playcentre including ‘Print your own T-shirt’, water play, sports games and a pamper session.
Sandra Robinson, Hartlepool Council’s out of school co-ordinator, said: “As a parent myself I know how difficult it can be to juggle working and looking after the children and hopefully Oscars can make things easier for parents during school holidays.
“Children have a great time with us and parents can relax knowing that their children are in safe hands.”
Oscars also operates an after school service and parents are welcome to view the facilities and meet up with staff but are asked to book an appointment.
