Hartlepool actor is J Lo's leading man

Daniel Robinson plays the singer’s chauvinistic boss in the video for her new single, Ain’t Your Mama. In the role, he’s seen ogling J Lo before she chucks water in his face and jams his tie in a type writer.

The cameo role is the latest professional coup for the entrepreneur-turned-actor who’s living in LA.

Born in Hartlepool and raised in Peterlee, the former English Martyrs School pupil went on to train as a fighter pilot in the RAF.

After a decade in that role, flying a Tornado F3, he went on to complete a further three years in the US Air Force earning the distinction of being the only non-American to fly the famed F22 Raptor Stealth Fighter.

Dan returned to Hartlepool in 2011 following the tragic death of his father Gus, and masterminded an impressive growth in the family firm, Gus Robinson Developments, which is now recognised as one of the most successful construction firms in the North East.

His achievements also include obtaining a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a martial art he went on to teach in his home town.
