Hartlepool's historic Art Gallery building will glow red tomorrow as part of World Aids Day.
The annual global event aims to raise awareness and show support for those living with HIV and AIDS.
Hartlepool is one of 12 North East localities lighting up key buildings and monuments to mark the event.
The town centre building will be lit up from 4pm to 10pm.
Councillor Christopher Akers-Belcher, leader of Hartlepool Borough Council and chairman of the Health and Wellbeing Board, said: “This annual day is an important reminder of the ongoing fight against HIV and AIDS.
“It is vital we offer our solidarity and unwavering support to those living with HIV in Hartlepool, as well as remembering those who have sadly lost their battle.”
