Bus company employees gave passengers the perfect start to the day as part of a national campaign.
Stagecoach North East employees in Hartlepool took part in this year’s National Customer Service Week.
Activities included a breakfast event, where staff handed out breakfast items to commuters on their way to work around the York Road and Victoria Road.
Customers were also being asked to nominate their Customer Service Stars from among the drivers and a staff company quiz is being held to test knowledge of the Stagecoach Group.
National Customer Service Week is run by the Institute of Customer Service and its aim is to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice and the growth of the UK economy.
A spokesman said: “Delivering good customer service is central to our business.”
