More details have been revealed of a Hartlepool seminar for businesses in Hartlepool which want to flourish online.

Google is coming to town with its Digital Garage on Tour initiative.

It will be holding two seminars as part of its visit to Hartlepool College of Further Education on February 5.

Businesses and entrepreneurs in the area can sign up for a choice of two seminars.

One called Tell Your Story Online will look at how businesses can make the first step towards making the most of the Internet by showing off the best of their business online.

Firms are being told that the seminar will help them make their website shine, on computers and mobile devices.

It’s a chance to develop rich content, and learn about the importance of measuring success with analytics.

The free one-hour seminar will be led by an expert trainer.

The second seminar called Reach New Customers Online is for businesses which want to be more visible online so that new customers can find them.

It aims to give entrepreneurs an understanding of the cornerstones of digital marketing, and learn how to use online marketing tools to reach prospective customers.

The latest Hartlepool event runs from 12.30pm to 2.30pm on February 5.
