Forty-four children from a Hartlepool primary school’s drama group went on a visit to London.
The group from Throston Primary School visits London every year in the hope that one day a school cast member will appear on the world-reknowned West End stage.
They visited tourist spots including Broadcasting House, before going to watch an evening performance of Mamma Mia, at the Novello Theatre.
They then went to the Natural History Museum before heading back to Kings Cross to travel back to Darlington where they were collected by coach and brought back to Hartlepool.
The youngsters, who were aged seven to 11, had an amazing time, as did five members of the school staff, and four parents or carers, who went along to help out.
