Young people and their families are being urged to find out what college has to offer.
Hartlepool College of Further Education, a leading apprenticeship provider, will be opening its doors to school leavers and adult learners who are looking to continue their education in a series of open events spread throughout the academic year.

The purpose of the #BeTheNext events is for students and their families to gather information about the numerous courses the college has on offer and to find out more about how they can get involved.
The event held on October 12 will be the first of four with the initial event dedicated to students in year 11 who are looking to leave school in 2018.
Shaun Hope, Head of Student Recruitment at Hartlepool College of Further Education said: “The #BeTheNext events are an opportunity for people of all ages, who are looking to continue their education, to get a chance to meet our specialist staff and receive award winning advice on career choices, bursary information and access to higher education queries.
“People should use the opportunity to come into the college, see all of the options available, get a feel for the learning environment we have developed and get a strong sense of the aspirations of our students that we are helping to build everyday.”
This year Hartlepool College of Further Education is looking to make it’s #BeTheNext event bigger and better than before.
The college intends to increase the number of enrolments, the amount of specialist staff on offer to provide advice and offer new exciting activities to take part in.
Shaun added: “Everybody wants to better themselves and the college has a proven history of success in assisting the people of Hartlepool to achieve more in their education. We want to continue this tradition of helping our students to work hard and succeed.”
The first #BeTheNext event is open invitation and will take place at Hartlepool College of Further Education on Thursday, October 12 between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
