Hartlepool house fire treated as suspicious by police

Police are treating a fire at a Hartlepool home as suspicious.

Fire crews attended a blaze at a house in Harrow Street just before 4am this morning.

No one was hurt in the incident, as the property was unoccupied.

A Cleveland Police spokesman said: "Police are treating the fire as suspicious, and would appeal for anyone with information to contact DS Mark Haworth of Hartlepool Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
