Families had a fun day in the sun as a Hartlepool school opened its grounds to hold a summer fair.
West Park Primary School in the town organised the get together with people of all ages coming along to join in.
There was a hook the duck stall, the chance to have a go at archery and even a visit from firefighters.
Famous characters such as Spider-Man and Snow White also made an appearance as did children’s entertainer Bubble Man and Hartlepool United mascot H’Angus the monkey.
There was a coconut shy, cake stall, spin the wheel game and a bouncy slide too, with music provided by a live DJ.
Football fans in the midst of World Cup fever also had the opportunity to play in a penalty shootout game.
Money raised from the event, which was organised by Friends of West Park Primary School, will go towards helping finish an extension for the nursery and early years pupils.
Christina Sherwood, chairman of the group, said: “The fair has been absolutely amazing and we’ve raised thousands of pounds for the school which is an astronomical amount.
“We only reformed the group eight weeks ago so it has been a lot of hard work to get things arranged as such short notice.
“A huge thank you to the 20 local businesses who have helped out as well.”
