The 20-year-old, from South West London, moved to the region when he began a Sports Science degree at Durham University three years ago.

And after starring for the University team, as well as Northern league sides Tow Law Town, Ashington and Durham City, Dudzinski has been snapped up by Pools after a successful trial.

Having played semi-professionally for Kingstonians whilst in the south, Dudzinski was given the chance to train with Pools during the latter part of last season and he did enough to impress goalkeeper coach Tony Caig and boss Hignett.

The youngster will now complete this degree course before joining-up with Pools in pre-season to offer competition to senior goalkeepers Trevor Carson and Adam Bartlett.
