Hartlepool United set to take huge away support to Morecambe in FA Cup

Pools have reported that they have already sold 600 tickets for the first round match at the Globe Arena.

The club will coninue to sell tickets until 3pm on Friday at Victoria Park.

Under FA Cup allocation rules, Pools have 600 seats at the Lancashire ground and 1,200 terrace tickets behind the goal.

Away fans can pay at the turnstiles on the day, which is likely to mean around 1,000 Poolies at the Globe Arena

Boss Craig Harrison has sung the praises of the blue and white army.

“Our fans have been fantastic at every game this season," Harrison told www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk.

"But I have been blown away by the away support.

“Given the amount of travelling we have to do, the followings we have had all over the country have been incredible.

"It’s great that more fans can be there to back us on Saturday with Morecambe being a relatively short trip.

“I can tell you it makes a vast difference to the players when they come out and see a large away support.
