A GOLDEN weight loss guru is delighted to have welcomed a whopping 48 new members to her group on the back of her slimming success.
Sarah Dickenson, who runs Hartlepool United Slimming World groups, was awarded gold status after helping more than 100 overweight people shed at total of 485 stones last year.
And since news of the accolade broke, the weight loss expert, whose classes are based within the Centenary Suite of Hartlepool United Football Club’s Victoria Park, has welcomed 48 new members.
The 33-year-old town mum has also had to open a Friday class as her Saturday session had become full.
And Sarah’s statistics show that in the first month of the year, her Friday slimmers have lost a combined 974lbs, while the Saturday group shed an impressive 320.5lbs.
Sarah, who has been running the classes for six years, said: “This has been my most successful January so far, I’m absolutely over the moon for everyone who has lost weight.
“It’s great to have a group which has achieved such a high standard because then the greater the support and encouragement from each other then the greater the goals are.”
The gold accolade was given to the 33-year-old Slimming World consultant because of her success in supporting slimmers to reach their dream weight after they lost a total of 6,800lbs.
It is also handed out to slimming coaches who consistently have 100 or more members in their group over several months, showing that dieters return week after week because of the service provided and the weight lost.
The award represents the highest level of service in slimming and places Sarah, a mum-of-three who lives in the Bishop Cuthbert area of Hartlepool, in the top five per cent of the organisation’s 3,500 UK consultants, meaning Hartlepool is home to some of the best slimming support.
