A spokesman for The Voice said: “Next year’s series of The Voice UK is on the look out for anyone who thinks they have what it takes to be the new vocal superstar.”

The Voice UK is open to solos and duos, and all musical styles are welcome.

Already the show has attracted an array of talent from Hartlepool, with singer Rick Snowdon rocketing to national stardom after his appearance on The Voice last year.

Although he didn’t win the competition, he has gone on to star in musical Eugenius! at the London Palladium.

To enter, you will need to be 16 years old on, or before, October 1, 2017.

Those wishing to audition who are under 18 will be permitted if accompanied with parent or legal guardian.
