He said: “I run a company called Peng Music which is putting all the bands on for Miles for Men’s big event in July, so this event is a mini fundraiser just to get things going.

“I wanted to use Peng to help out Miles for Men and use the headline bands bring in crowds to help raise as much money as possible for the charity.

“The Hummingbirds are coming from Liverpool and they are a really great band which has recently won a Liverpool Music Award.

“They are a really up-and-coming band who have played at a lot of big festivals and they are coming up to Hartlepool to play.

“There will also be four local acts as well, TheFineTimes, The Kets, Danny Devon and Tinny Bennett, who are all quality acts.

“It looks set to be a great event.”
