PEOPLE can find out more about the running of a hospital trust.
North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, which runs hospitals in Hartlepool and Stockton, is holding an event for members and people who are interested in becoming a member.
Anyone who wants to hear about chest disease in the North-East and the trust’s finance and commissioning responsibilities can join in the event on Saturday from 9.30am to 11.30am.
It is being held in the teaching centre at the University Hospital of North Tees, Stockton,
Chief executive Alan Foster said: “This is a great opportunity for members to find out more about their local health service and to meet the governors that represent them.”
Free parking will be available, along with tea and coffee from 9.30am, followed by presentations and discussions, which will last just over an hour.
