HEALTH experts will be on hand to help people lose weight in a series of classes starting next week.
North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust has a team of health trainers who will be offering free weight management classes in an eight-week course.
The hour-long sessions will start on Wednesday, February 8, from 10am-11am in the craft room at Hartfields Retirement Village, at Bishop Cuthbert, in Hartlepool.
The programme will feature something different every week including looking at portion sizes, understanding food labels and the chance to learn new recipes.
It will also allow participants to create a healthy eating plan.
Senior health trainer Denise Murphy said: “Anyone over 18 is welcome to come along and find out how to eat healthy, prepare an eating plan and much more.
“This is for everyone who wants to lose weight permanently, rather than letting their weight yo-yo.”
