Help survey our feathered friends

HELP is needed for a planned survey of the wildlife in Hartlepool.

The town’s Wild Green Spaces team will be holding a survey in Ward Jackson Park to find out more about the bird species which inhabit local gardens.

People are being invited to join in with the study on Sunday, January 27. It starts at 10am and will last for two hours.

The event will also include a practical workshop and a chance to learn how to make a hanging bird-feeder table to take home.

Organisers have named the event the Big Garden Bird Bash and it’s free, but anyone wanting to take part needs to book in advance by calling (01429) 853325.
