ADULTS looking to get online for the first time are being offered help.
The Central Library, in York Road, Hartlepool, is running a rolling programme of free five-week courses called First Click to introduce people to the wonders of the e-world.
The sessions include help on how to use a keyboard and mouse, search the internet and send e-mails.
Diane Marlborough, the library’s information, advice and guidance manager, said: “The classes are very small and friendly and most of the time people will receive personal tuition.
“The courses are currently running on Friday mornings but we could alter that timing if there is sufficient demand.”
Places on the courses must be booked in advance.
