A DARTS fundraising night featuring six professionals is on target to sell out with only 50 tickets still available.

The British Darts Organisation’s finest will be heading to Hartlepool to take on a select team of the North East’s best players, all helping to raise cash for Miles for Men.

The event, at Hartlepool Supporters Club, in Sandringham Road, on Friday, January 24 was organised by BDO player Kevin Hill, who isn’t one bit surprised at how well the tickets have sold so far.

A selection of VIP tickets went in less than two days and people are now being urged to act fast if they want to go along and enjoy the top-class tungsten on offer on the night.

“These kind of shows always prove extremely popular, especially when it’s raising money for a charity like this one which means so much to so many people in Hartlepool,” said Kevin, who lives in Bishop Auckland.

The BDO’s world number three Robbie ‘Kong’ Green will lead a star-studded team in the town for the night. World number seven Glen Durrant will also take part along with Martin ‘The Assassin’ Atkins, Dave Smith, Alan Norris and Gary Stone.

The event will also give people the chance to remember much loved town youngster Dan Sullivan who lost his battle with cancer last year, aged just seven.

A match will take place for the Dan Sullivan Memorial Trophy. Auctions will be held on the night to help raise cash.

Kevin will also be bringing the impressive Darts World Cup trophy along with him on the night. For tickets, priced at £10, call 07403329145 or 07554549378.
