A HOME and lifestyle extravaganza is back - with organisers promising this year’s event will be even bigger and better.

The second annual etc Home and Lifestyle Show will showcase the very best of that the region has to offer.

This weekend’s event, which is organised by etc, the luxury lifestyle magazine for the North East and sister publication to the Hartlepool Mail, will take place at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light.

The show will offer expert advice for those who are redecorating their home or garden, hunting for furniture or looking for interior design ideas.

Health and fitness tips, beauty treatments and hypnotherapy, helping people to lose weight and give up smoking, will also be available for visitors to take advantage of.

Admission to the event is absolutely free and entertainment will be provided on the day from singer and compare Steve Walls.

Georga Spottiswood, etc editor, said: “We got some cracking feedback from last year’s inaugural event, which hundreds of people came to.

“This year we’re hoping to put on an even bigger show with an array of exhibitors from across the region featuring everything from stylish home accessories, luxury furnishings to sweet treats and jewellery.

“It’s going to be a fantastic day out for all the family.”

Various demonstrations will be held at the show and visitors can enjoy the event safe in the knowledge that the Stadium of Light will provide free parking and shelter from whatever the weather on the day.

Linda Burnside, etc publisher, added: “The atmosphere is going to be buzzing and this is a day out for all the family that is not to be missed.”

The show will take place on Sunday, September 9, from 11am.
