PEOPLE have the chance to learn more about how a housing group is run.
East Durham Homes is holding an annual general meeting later this month where it will release its annual report and announce its new board directors .
There will also be a cheque presentation to the chairman’s charity, which is the Understanding Childhood MS campaign.
Paul Mains, interim chief executive, said: “We welcome all our customers and members of the public to our AGM and hope that it will provide useful information to people who want to find out what we’ve achieved during 2011-12 and what we have planned for the year ahead.”
People can submit any questions they wish to ask the board and executive management team by contacting the Governance Unit on 0800 0320835.
Questions must be submitted to the board at least 48 hours before the event.
The meeting will take place at the Greenhill’s Centre, Wheatley Hill, from 6pm on Thursday, September 27.
