The Hot Potato Comedy Club will welcome Seymour Mace, Geoff Norcott, Simon Wozniak and Danny McLoughlin to its next night on Saturday, March 26.

Peter Vincent, of promoter Ten Feet Tall, said: “We had a great start to the year at the first gig of the brand new season last month – and this month looks spot-on too.

“Crackling with childish energy, Seymour Mace is a proper genius and was nominated for the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award last summer.

“You’ll also know him as Steve in Johnny Vegas’ much missed BBC3 sitcom Ideal, and we can’t wait to see him here in Hartlepool.

“Co-headliner Geoff Norcott is the name on everyone’s lips.

“Whether supporting Sarah Millican, starring in a YouTube smash with Rory Mcilroy, which had two million views in the first five days, or selling out Edinburgh Festival with rave reviews, he’s definitely the one to watch.

“Simon Wozniak is a great new act, and you know it’s always going to be a top gig when Danny McLoughlin is MC.
