Hunting jackets stolen from car

POLICE are investigating the theft of three hunting jackets from a car parked at a nature reserve.

The jackets were taken from a Vauxhall Frontera at the Hurworth Burn Nature Reserve car park, in Trimdon.

They are a Deer Hunter Montena brown and green camouflage coat, size XXL and worth £199, a Deer Hunter green fleece and a Bronty tweed gilet with olive green patches on the shoulders, valued at £49.

The theft took place at about 10.30am on Tuesday, March 13.
