Hartlepool turned back the clock this weekend by holding its first Show and Horticultural Festival in years.

The theme of the event, held at the Rift House Recreation Ground, was Go Wild - harking back to the Hartlepool Shows of old, with an added modern horticultural twist.

Visitors enjoyed a whole host of attractions, ranging from live music performances to fairground rides, BMX displays and outdoor theatre.

They could also able to check out award-winning flowers, fruit and vegetables, on display from across the North-East at the event’s Horticultural Festival.
