THE hospital services that could return to Hartlepool have been revealed - but health chiefs say the town will never have an accident and emergency department again.

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust bosses say there is “no question” of reversing the changes made to emergency care last year.

A&E, consultant-led maternity services, emergency surgery and children’s in-patient services have all transferred to the University Hospital of North Tees, in Stockton, in recent years.
