A DANCE school is planning a night for the ladies in a fund raising event with a real difference.

The On Your Toes dance school based in Thomlinson Road in Hartlepool, will hold the event on Friday, September 20, at the Hillcarter Hotel, in Church Street, in the town.

And organisers are promising it will be an occasion which is “not to be missed” by the ladies of Hartlepool.

Jade Cook, who owns the dance school, said: “Everyone is welcome. There is a free buffet and disco and lots of entertainment.”

Women who attend the event will be greeted by scantily clad butlers.

Jade added: “Throughout the evening, there will be entertainment such as rock and roll bingo and a pop artist entertainer who will perform a few songs to open up the karaoke.

“It is going to be a night not to be missed by the ladies of the town and everyone is welcome.”

Tickets are £6 and those interested in attending should contact Jade Cook in advance on 07538 181482.

Jade added: “The fund raising is to help with travel costs and costumes for shows, and with equipment and competition fees.”

Ten per cent of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Macmillan nurses cause “for the excellent work they do,” said Jade.

“We want to make this a big part of our night as this is something close to my heart. We would also like to appeal to any local businesses who would like to help or donate anything they can no matter how small.”

On Your Toes, which caters for girls and boys from the age of two upwards, is now based in Units 6/7 at Enterprise House, in Thomlinson Road.

Last year, On Your Toes relocated from a hall on the Headland to its current premises in a a revamp costing between £10,000 and £15,000.
