A SEX attacker who molested young women on buses has been locked up for two and a half years.
Presath Selvarajah, 25, a failed asylum seeker, indecently touched six girls and young women, mostly on buses in the Billingham area.
They also included an attack on a Hartlepool bus journey while another was destined for the town and a third happened on a bus in the Middlesbrough area.
In one incident Selvarajah sat next to a young girl on a bus before talking to her and then groping her.
The attacks prompted Cleveland Police to launch a public appeal for information and released a CCTV image of Selvarajah on a local bus.
Selvarajah, of Essex Street, Middlesbrough, was jailed at Teesside Crown Court after he admitted 10 counts of sexual assault.
He also faces deportation from the country on his release from prison.
