Sunderland AFC striker Jermain Defoe has shared his excitement of teaming up with battling youngster Bradley Lowery at Wembley.
The Blackhall five-year-old's hero took to Twitter to tell the youngster he was looking forward to seeing him at the stadium as England take on Lithuania tonight.
Defoe retweeted a pic of Bradley taken from his @Bradleysfight Twitter account showing the brave boy travelling down to London on the train ahead of the game.
The Sunderland star said: "See you tomorrow@Bradleysfight" referencing Bradley's debut appearance as an England mascot for the Three Lions' World Cup qualifier.
The little battler is currently undergoing pioneering antibody treatment in Newcastle to prolong his life, after his parents were dealt with the blow that his cancer neuroblastoma was terminal.
His appearance as a mascot is part of his family's campaign to create as many happy memories as possible with the youngster.
