We have 15 family tickets, which will give access to two adults and three children, to any of its performances.

The visit by the attraction will follow on from a successful tour of the UK last year and mark the first appearance of the circus in Hartlepool.

The star will be its clown Angelo, a master of comedy, who has proved a hit with the young, as well as the young at heart.

Whether he is conducting an imaginary orchestra, making a mock up movie or filling time between acts with his crazy antics up in the grandstand, he will always keep you laughing with something new from his catalogue of comedy experience.

The Jackson family combine traditional circus acrobatics with a modern twist as they perform with their incredible display of daring acrobats on bicycles and unicycles.

During the act Marco Jackson can be seen riding backwards with his wife Maria climbing high to balance on his shoulders.

Marco and Maria will be joined by their son, Marco Jr, and daughter, Lara, as they all ride on just one bicycle in a pyramid.

Making their UK debut, Duo Extreme will be seen flying though the air inside the Big Top as they showcase their skills as aerial performers.

Another dimension is added as they perform suspended over a tank filled with water and at times they will be lowered or even dropped into the water

Duo Extreme has been awarded the first prize in a festival of circus artistes that took place through December and January in Germany.

They beat some very tough competition to this prestigious award and top a list of best acts voted for by the public.

A spokesman for the circus said: “We are really excited to be able to bring our brand new show to Hartlepool for the first time, we hope it will be well received as we pride ourselves on producing high quality, affordable family entertainment.

“There will be something for everyone as we can guarantee laughs, thrills, suspense and lots of action.

“It is important to remember that in a world full of digital and virtual entertainment with computer games and the internet, nothing can ever beat bringing the whole family together to witness the magic of a live performance.

“Several of our acts touring with us in 2017 will be making their UK debut so we will have many new and exciting feats that have never before been seen in this country.”

The shows will be held at 4.45pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday to Friday, 2pm to 4.45pm and 7.30pm on Saturday and noon and 3pm on Sunday.
