A HOUSING group will host a coffee morning to mark the launch of a new landlords’ scheme to improve village life.
Accent Foundation, Acorn Property Lets and Castledene Group will launch the Good Neighbour Agreement tomorrow at Horden Social Welfare Centre, in Seventh Street, between 10am and noon.
Residents and the local organisations supporting the agreement are invited to sign up.
The Hartlepool Mail reported in November that the scheme was being drawn up in a bid to improve standards in Horden’s numbered streets.
It sets out basic standards to be expected from residents, landlords and letting agents.
All funds raised from the coffee morning will be donated to Horden Colliery Residents’ Association and Horden Regeneration Partnership.
