Letter of the week: 'I wait with bated breath for Hartlepool's Church Street vision to appear
To digress; does anyone know exactly who this artist is that produces these pretty pictures and how much he charges the tax payers of Hartlepool?

It seems that the lady with the pram walking through a fully pedestrianised Church Street has gone missing?
Talking of missing things, the latest artist’s impression of the Marina leaves me somewhat puzzled. While the paddle steamer (without café) is shown, the Dry Dock and the Trincomalee are missing.
Does Councillor Akers-Belcher know something we don’t? And why are the yachts shown berthed with their sails up? Artistic licence perhaps?

Hide AdUp to now we have had a nightclub on Jacksons Landing. Shops on Jacksons Landing, Flats and a Big Wheel on Jacksons Landing and now there is going to be a water sports facility, a new maritime museum and a 4* Hotel on Jacksons Landing. All on a piece of derelict land that was hardly big enough for a shopping mall and a car park?
I just hope that the people of Hartlepool get what is promised, however, I wait with bated breath.
