By now the results will be in on the 2017 general election.

Many will be elated and as many deflated with what has happened.

But whatever has taken place, I would like to thank all those that stayed committed to UKIP in the face of an onslaught to diminish the party.

We, like the other smaller parties, suffer from lack of resources and financial support.

But, nevertheless, we get out there with our loyal and dedicated supporters and fight for what we believe in.

And, as proven in the past, with an agenda that, at the outset, was ridiculed and insulted yet has become the narrative for all the major parties to eventually follow.

This will not change but what will is the realisation that UKIP is relevant and necessary for a healthy democracy.

So thank you to all who decided to back UKIP.

Remember, no war is won by a single victory but by many setbacks being overcome and maintaining focus and the desire to win.

We have many battles to win but in the end victory will come.
