And a total of 2,100 points have been racked up in the Middleton Grange shopping centre awards scheme thanks to the Mail’s bonus tokens.

Today we are giving readers another 50 points free to donate to the school of their choice.

The rewards scheme launched at the start of October and runs until December 31.

At the end, all 23 participating schools will be allocated vouchers, depending on their final total, to spend on a wide variety of useful school equipment.

Teachers will get to choose from a specially selected list of items including learning toys, electronic goods and outdoor equipment.

Shopping centre bosses say the annual campaign is one of many ways they
support the local community.

Mark Rycraft, manager of Middleton Grange, said: “We’ve had a fantastic
response from local schools.

“It’s so easy for people to play their part and support the efforts of the schools.

“For every £1 spent in the centre, shoppers will receive a points voucher that they can donate to their chosen school at our customer services desk.

“Shops for Schools is an important part of the year for us as it enables us to give something back to the local community.

“We’re incredibly proud of how successful the scheme has been in the past and we’re looking forward to another fantastic year.”

Don’t forget you can claim double points for every pound spent in the shopping centre on Sundays and it is triple points for any bank holiday.
