Mail readers can help Hartlepool cause win a bigger share of a Â£20,000 pot

Mail readers still have time to help a Hartlepool cause '“ which supports people affected by cancer '“ to secure more money.

The Cancer Support Group at West View Advice Centre in Miers Avenue has reached the final 15 in the Golden Giveaway with the Teesside Philanthropic Foundation.

The centre’s service development manager Dawn Vincent, said: “The money which we will receive will be used by the group to pay for holistic therapy treatments and social activities to improve the quality of life for people undergoing treatment for cancer.

“So we need your help as the more public votes we get the larger share of £20,000 we will receive.”

The vote lasts until 5pm on Friday, March 24. Voting is via www.teessidecharity.org.uk where people should select ‘West View Advice’.
