Calling all brides and grooms.
The etc Wedding Show is set to take place this Sunday at the five-star Rockliffe Hall.
It is the second time etc – the luxury lifestyle magazine for the North-East and sister publication to the Hartlepool Mail – has hosted a wedding event at the venue.
The first was held in March and proved such a hit with couples that the magazine decided to put on another extravaganza.
etc editor Georga Spottiswood said: “Having just been a bridesmaid myself, I understand the stress that brides-to-be can be under. From choosing the wedding stationery to marrying the colour scheme to the table centrepieces and bouquets, it can be a daunting experience.
“That’s why we’ve chosen the best the wedding industry has to offer here in the North East and our array of exhibitors will be there to help brides-to-be make their big day extra special.”
W Salon will be there to offer wedding hair ideas, while Durham-based Ava Rose Hamilton can help brides-to-be find the dress of their dreams.
But it is not just about the brides – prospective grooms can make sure they’re looking dapper on the day with formal wear and suit hire experts Affleck and Moffat and Bakers.
Stan Seaton Photography and Camera A will show how they can capture the magic of the big day, while Prime Entertainment and Snapperazzi Photobooths can provide some quality entertainment for guests.
Flowers by Nattrass will be there to guide brides and grooms through bouquets and buttonholes, while Berry Boutique will be showcasing a beautiful range of bridal bling.
And if you want a honeymoon to remember, let the team at Travel Bureau help you pick a first-class destination.
etc publisher Linda Burnside said: “At our first wedding event we really did pull out all the stops to make it a top-class day, but we’re hoping this one will be even bigger and better.”
The etc Wedding Show will take place from noon to 4pm. Guests will be greeted with a goodie bag and a glass of champagne, after which they can see what’s on offer and talk to the exhibitors.
There will also be a glamorous bridal fashion show, with entertainment from wedding swing singer Anthony Stringer.
For soon-to-be brides and grooms, and their families, this is one event that is not be missed.
Tickets for this event are free. Call 501 7195 or visit www.etcnortheast.co.uk for further details.
