Man, 21, assaulted and verbally abused in Seaton Carew

Police are appealing for information after a 21-year-old man was assaulted and verbally abused in Seaton Carew.

It happened on Seaton Beach, opposite the Norton Hotel, The Green.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at 2.15pm when the man approached the victim with his dog and verbally abused him and then physically pushed him.

The man is described as in his late 40s to early 50s with white hair and he was wearing black shorts and a white polo top and was walking a black/white Border Collier which answered to the name Maple.
