A REVELLER was left with a broken nose after he was attacked by a gang of men outside a pub.
The 18-year-old victim was walking away from Lloyds Bar, in Church Square, Hartlepool, when he was approached by three men and assaulted.
The teenager was then kicked to the face while he was lying on the ground, and as a result suffered a suspected broken nose and swelling to his face.
The men then made off along Church Street, while the victim was treated for his injuries at the University Hospital of North Tees, in Stockton.
Police are investigating the incident, which took place around 11.30pm on Friday, April 20.
A police spokeswoman said: “An 18-year-old man was walking away from Lloyds Bar when he was approached by three men and assaulted.
“He was punched to the face causing him to fall to the floor. Whilst he was on the floor he was kicked to the face causing swelling and a possible broken nose and he was treated at hospital.”
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of alleged assault and bailed pending further inquiries.
