A man has been attacked with a hammer and his partner was threatened during a burglary at their home.
Three men forced their way into their home in Horden shortly after 10pm on September 11 and attacked the man with the hammer before stealing a quantity of money and a mobile phone.

Her young daughter slept through the ordeal.
PC Norman Foster, from Durham Constabulary, said: “The family are in deep shock and no longer feel safe in their home.
"We are to be thankful that the girl was oblivious to the incident and it does not bear thinking what effect this would have had on her if she saw or heard what happened.
“This type of incident is rare in this area.
"Those responsible need catching and brought to justice for this despicable crime.”
The three men all had their faces covered.
One was wearing a blue hooded top and the tallest had a white hooded top.
All were wearing tracksuit bottoms.
