Man injured in collison

A MAN suffered a broken leg after being hit by a car.

The incident, involving a Ford Fiesta and a 27-year-old pedestrian, happened on The Front, in Seaton Carew, just before 11pm on Sunday.

The man was taken to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, where he was treated for his injury.

Police said the car was at the scene when officers arrived.

They are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or for more information to contact PC Neil Armstong on the non-emergency 101 number quoting incident number 123114.
