POLICE spent an hour-and-a-half talking a man down from a youth centre roof.
Officers were called to the Rossmere Youth Centre, in Rossmere Way, Hartlepool, after receiving reports that someone was on top of the building.
The call was received at around 4.35am today and police spent 90 minutes negotiating with the man.
He eventually came down of his own accord.
An ambulance and fire engine were on stand-by at the scene but was not needed.
