A Hartlepool man who admitted a string of offences including possession of drugs and criminal damage has been given a community order by the town’s magistrates.
Philip Michael Keenan, 36, of Helmsley Street, Hartlepool, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis.
A community order was made meaning he was having treatment for drug dependency as a non-resident for six months.
He also pleaded guilty to having a lock knife on his possession, as well as a quantity of Class A drug diamorphine, a further occasion of being in possession of cannabis and failing to surrender for custody.
The same community order applies. The order also covered Keenan being found guilty of damaging a glass window pane worth £75, displaying to another in writing, sign or visible representation which was threatening, abusive or insulting with intent to provoke violence and eight charges of committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge.
